R06.04.02.07-T01 Conform a Premiere XML in Resolve to camera originals

Original instruction

Import input/doc_lock_v7.xml (Premiere export, 48 events, proxies) into DaVinci Resolve, relink every event to the camera originals in media/ocf/ (different paths and file names, matched by reel name and source TC), keep speed changes and scale, and save project 'Doc_Conform'. Export a conform EDL to out/conform.edl.

R06.04.02.07-T02 Conform a CMX3600 EDL against an offline reference

Original instruction

In Resolve, conform input/reel3.edl (CMX3600, 112 events, reel names = tape names in OCF metadata) to media/ocf/, load input/reel3_offline.mov as offline reference, and fix every event that does not line up (wrong reel, missing clip, TC offset). Write fixed event numbers to out/fixes.txt.

R06.04.02.07-T05 Avid AAF to Resolve, relinking from DNxHD to RAW

Original instruction

Bring the Media Composer sequence input/R1_LOCK.aaf (DNxHD 36 proxies) into DaVinci Resolve, relink to ARRIRAW originals in media/raw/ by source TC and tape name, preserve repositions, and render a 10-frame-handle ProRes 4444 per-clip export for VFX shots only (marked by Avid locators) to out/vfx/.

R06.04.02.07-T07 Repair drop-frame/non-drop timecode in an EDL conform

Original instruction

input/spot_2997.edl was exported as non-drop but the 29.97 media is drop-frame, so events drift. Correct the EDL timecode mode, conform it in Resolve or Premiere against media/, and export out/spot_fixed.edl whose record TCs land frame-accurately on the reference input/spot_ref.mov.

R06.04.02.07-T09 Apply a v2 change list without losing grades

Original instruction

The editor sent input/v2_changes.xml after grading started. In Resolve, use ColorTrace (or compare timelines) to carry all grades from timeline 'R2_v1' onto a new timeline built from the v2 XML, so unchanged and trimmed shots keep their grades and only the 5 new shots are ungraded. R06.04.02.07-T10 Re-import Pro Tools stems and verify sync at the 2-pop

Original instruction

Pro Tools delivered stems (DX, MX, FX, 5.1 and stereo) in input/stems/. Import them into Premiere sequence 'EP2_LOCK' on new tracks aligned to the session start 00:59:58:00, check the 2-pop lands on the 2-pop frame and the tail pop matches, mute the guide audio, and export out/EP2_final.mov.

R06.04.02.07-T11 Restore a speed ramp lost in an XML round trip

Original instruction

Resolve's import of input/sport_edit.xml turned shot 7's time-remap ramp (100-25-100 pct) into a constant 100 pct and broke shot 12's freeze frame. Rebuild both in Resolve using the retime curve so their timing matches input/sport_ref.mov within 1 frame throughout, keeping cut points.
